All too often, I speak with dentists who tell me that their practice is struggling, their business is off, and the number of new patients is down. They come to me with the same question: Coach Ron, how can I bring in new patients?

And bam! – an instant deer-caught-in-headlights look!
Sure, I can sit down with my clients and do chart audits, and yes, we can have staff call patients to schedule follow-up treatments. But, does this work? Does this fix the real problem? No!
The problem of low new patient numbers is fixed when a dentist becomes clear on where their practice is going and what their expectations are. I call this a Vision Statement. The problem is solved when the dentist shares their Vision Statement and Core Values with their team and holds them accountable, because only then does progress happen.
