When I ask dental teams what makes them unique and different from other offices I hear the same two replies:

  1. “We deliver high quality dentistry.” And…
  2. “We take really good care of our patients.”

Unfortunately many of them are clueless.

A study surveyed customer levels of satisfaction and discovered that 80% of the companies surveyed believed that the service they provided was excellent while only 8% of the customers of those same companies described their experiences as superior!

How can 80% of the companies think they are providing superior service but only 8% of their customers agree with them?
